Hidden in the fireplace of The Mayor's Parlour restaurant is priest's hole where priests used to hide for fear of being caught by the from the soldiers The rear aspect of the hotel overlooks the rivers avon and Severn.

Situated in the high street of Tewkesbury providing easy access to the many shops in the town and the Abbey.

The hotel was also one of the last temperance hotels in England.
